" The materials were great, easy to understand and follow. The presenter's style was engaging and entertaining. I was learning when I didn't know I was learning. I had my doubts when the presenter said "trust me, by the time you sit the exam you will be ready". Sure enough our confidence grew as the course proceeded and by the end of day 4 I was ready and eager to sit the exam. I am delighted to say that I (and my team) had a successful outcome and I realise I was learning when I was not aware that I was learning due to the skillful style of the presenter."

What is MSP
The official OGC Manual "Managing Successful Programmes" defines program management as "the action of carrying out the coordinated organisation, direction and implementation of a dossier or projects and transformational activities to achieve outcomes and realise benefits of strategic importance to the business".
The application of Program management is key to providing the effective leadership and strategic control required within organisations managing transformational change.
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) is the OGC Best Practice framework. Coming from the same stable as PRINCE2®, MSP represents proven good practice in program management in the successful delivery of transformational change
The framework ensures that a structured environment is established to allow the strategic direction to be set and projects effectively to be managed to achieve the corporate goals. This structured environment ensures that the interests of the stakeholders are taken into account and the role of the Business Change Manager is detailed to ensure that there is a single person responsible for the transition of the final product from each project into its operational environment.
Throughout the approach there are mechanisms in place to allow the controlled decision-making at a high and appropriate level to drive the program and ensure that the desired outcomes are delivered. This methodology is of significant relevance due to the trend towards reducing project size and managing a series of interlinked projects providing earlier benefits.
The MSP framework is based on three core concepts:
o Principles
o Governance Themes
o Transformational Flow
